In these times of rapid change, it is not possible to keep pace without self-education. We want to rank among the best plants sought after by candidates and customers; we invest large amounts in our employees' growth. We regularly review the knowledge level and define individual training plans. During the first months, our new co-workers accomplish many admission training sessions, which ease their integration and adaptation in our plant. They get important information, get acquainted with their colleagues and our corporate culture.
Training stipulated by legislation for the given working position, training according to ISO requirements, IT training, special CUBE training for production operators, training for our competency centres which enables you to get acquainted with their basic processes and colleagues who work in them.
Every even year since 2008, we have opened the Pierburg Stars growth programme that we have created ourselves. In 12 days and six modules, our employees get acquainted with many soft skills, tools and techniques, meet colleagues from other teams and get a view of their everyday work. They also gradually get acquainted with our corporate culture and its values.
For the assembly line supervisor positions, we have created and opened the TL Academy – a unique employee growth programme focused on our team leaders' professional knowledge and skills.
We annually prepare Individual Training Plans, which are focused on the development of our employees' required knowledge level. We thus ensure natural advancement from junior to specialist and senior positions.
Last but not least, we also work with the possibility of internal transfer and orientation in new positions in the production, technical and administration areas.
